Nerds on Sports is a sports blog created out of boredom when its founding members realized that they still had lots of free time on their hands, even after discussing video games, Battlestar Galactica and American Idol. The gamer forum from whence they originated had limited patience for threads detailing the sexual proclivites of the Giles brothers, so they created a new home for their bizarre rants and raves. Nerds on Sports is an attempt by its writers to enjoy both sports and things nerdy, and relate how the two are often not that far apart.
