I started making bread while my flatmate was in hospital having a brain tumour removed. I'm still not sure how to make it rise properly, but since then I've finished my Masters in the abjection of James Bond, started knitting like a fiend, helped my partner move into my teeny North London flat and begun collaborating on what will be a gorgeous vegetarian cookbook for the spatially challenged as well as a literary/intellectual criticism mag (which will both be launched in early 2006).
My flatmate has returned with Spanish mother in tow, I'm slowly learning Espanol as exaggarated facial expressions and "Hola!" only go so far.
