MY NAME IS Howard. I'm from South Pasadena, CA.- a small suburb 10 miles NE of Downtown L.A. I'm a landscape architect by day, photoblogger, TV junkie, and occasional videogamer at night. Photography became a serious hobby after Photo II in high school. My first camera was a Kodak 110 Instamatic, which I still have. I'm not pro or amature, I care less about my photog status, just give me a camera and I'll do my best to fit something interesting in the frame. I suck at flash, I don't know Photoshop, or have an ounce of patience to process a RAW file. My only 'digital' darkroom technique is shadow & highlight balance, auto-equalize, and edge sharpness- all done in ACDSee's built-in editor. The occasional pseudo cross-processing filter is nice, but not too often though.
I graduated from California State Polytechnic University at Pomona in 97 with a BS in Landscape Architecture. I graduated from Cal-Poly Pomona again in 2001 with a Master in Landscape Architecture.
