In late October 2006, I realized that I was doing some spectacular work killing myself where I live, through substance abuse, not eating correctly (read: enough at all), and generally just abusing myself. Shortly thereafter, due to way overdoing the substance thing, I ended up spending a night coughing blood, and asking for more while blacked-out-drunk.
That was a wakeup call. I decided to leave this place, see the world, and do this while I still had two brain cells left to rub together.
This is my story.
