Site Description: Now the United States have their own city that gets enegry from the wind. The city is called Rock Port and it is located in Missouri. There is a Loess Hill Wind Farm that includes 1.25 megawatt wind turbines that can generate 16 GW hours or 16 million kilowatts hours annually.There are 1,400 people living in the city and each year businesses and people spend around 13 GW hours of electricity.The electric company called Missouri Public Utility Alliance is the one to buy excess of electricity when available. Then the company will supply the required power if there's not enough wind energy. An excess of wind energy will not be stored but fed into Rock Port's high voltage line.
