Mathematics cannot reconcile the quantum and relativistic aspects of the universe at the singularity -- just before the Big Bang. Since our mathematics and experimental models are not sufficient for this reconciliation, this may be the point -- the singularity -- where the distinctive languages and models of science and of philosophy / religion will find common ground to explain the singularity that existed prior to the Big Bang AND whether God exists.
