We are members of Generation Me — the name assigned to today’s young Americans for our narcissism, self-absorption, entitlement, and total devotion to instant gratification. We binge on bad behavior and revel in our own shallowness. We’re incorrigible, invincible, and irritatingly self-assured. At Hello, Hedonism, we intend to expose and celebrate the much-berated nature of our hedonistic kind. You’ll find that in some ways we’re not as bad as we seem — and that in others, of course, we’re much worse.
