The "punctum saliens" is the "leaping point." This blog is the point from where I leap into new ideas and new ways of thinking about Christianity, spirituality, and mysticism. I was raised Fundamentalist Christian until I had enough and "broke away" as a senior in high school. I am now returning to Christianity but from a totally different direction -- one that encompasses all mystical traditions. Hopefully my ideas will be radical enough to shock you out of the traditional, mainstream Christian tradition but make enough sense that you will actually think about them. I sincerely want to dialogue about these ideas; they are not polished but are rough works in progress. So, take a flying leap with me and see where we land!
