There's three kinds of things you'll find on this site - hopefully at least one of them will interest you! <ol> <li>First off, I get to recommend <a href="http://www.adorablerockets.com/?cat=2">anime</a> and other <a href="http://www.adorablerockets.com/?cat=4">pop-pulp</a> to my friends and sundry visitors. This is <em>not</em> an anime blog in the traditional sense. No episode by episode commentary here. Rather, some full reviews and lots of first impressions of series early in their run. Basically I'm writing this kind of blog because I wish there were more places where I could go an learn about series without having to wade through detailed episode summaries or spend the time to download and watch them. I want to give key points about anything new, particularly bad, or particularly good, with all the enthusiasm of a good fanboy, but tempered with a critical perspective on quality. Why yes, the <strong>New Yorker's</strong> movie reviews <em>are</em> my favorite, why do you ask?</li> <li> I get to <a href="http://www.adorablerockets.com/?cat=21">muse, pontificate, rant and generally waste bits on various pop cultural topics</a> - mostly centered on Modern Japanese Visual Culture. Oh, but my dorkiness ranges far and wide. Games might make it there too... </li> <li> Finally <a href="http://www.adorablerockets.com/?cat=11">I get to post up my <strong>junk</strong></a>. Images. Stories. Maybe a few renderings, flash games, who knows. If it's crappy though, you can bet I'll put it up!
