Booga Bag
I have wanted to felt something for months and months. I simply thought that I couldn't since I have a front loading washing machine. I had researched it last year and could not find anything about front loading washing machine felting. Well the urge to felt was too big so I researched it again just before Christmas and I went ahead and did it. I wanted a purse to start with so I chose the Booga Bag from Black Sheep Bags. I used Sean Sheep 100% wool. I discovered Sean Sheep at Walmart. Seeing as I do not have a LYS anywhere ( and I mean nowhere) near. I had purchased their Georgia Wool but it was mercerized and after much discussion concluded that it could not be felted. When I discovered Sean Sheep at 2.75 a ball I had to give it a try. The pictures do not do it justice. My girls think it's the most adorable bag ever. Seems I might have to knit up another one :)

Little Shells Socks
I finally finished a pair of socks and I wasn't bored with the pattern. I loved it. I knit in my spare time and I thought I would have more of that during the summer. boy was I wrong. Well my youngest loves them and now her sister wants a pair. I did promise daddy a pair of glittens for hunting this year so I've started on those.

Lelah is done!
Well I finished my version of Lelah. I couldn't do a tube top, not with my body type. It would have been no service to me or to anyone having to look at it. So I modified the top. It turned out nice, I'm going to try to block it because the straps curl. I will also probably put an elastic on the front part so it doesn't hang out and everything is out there for everyone to see.
All in all I'm satisfied with it and would probably knit up another one.

Knitting Board
My hubby made me a knitting board!! He is such a sweety.

I've finished the bottom half of the Leah Top and I really like the way the pattern turned out. I did make 12 repeats of it instead of the 8 the pattern called for. I have yet to start the dishcloth KAL and it looks like I'll have to play catch up on it. The socks are not advancing much because I really really want to finish the Leah Top so I can wear it. I am really not used to working with such small or fine yarn. It takes some getting used to.

Yarn Store
I actually visited a yarn store. My second time in a yarn store. This time I actually bought something. I bought a skein of Regia sock yarn and two of Katia Fanny. The Katia Fanny was in a clearance bin for a 1$ each. It's a silk/rayon combo. I have no clue what to do with it but it's such a sweet yarn! I am going to try my hand at a pair of socks for my youngest with the Regia. I couldn't find a sock pattern that I liked and honestly I couldn't find much choice for kids socks. I finally decided on Little Shell socks.

Every Day Any Day Dishcloth
Well I finished the Mid May KAL called Every Day Any Day by Sue Schaefer at Harvest Moon Designs. I just loved knitting it up. It was very different from most cloths I've knit before. I did frog it after the first day because I wasn't doing my YO in reverse.

I've had to frog my Lelah top twice now. I start knitting in the round and about row 11 I realize that I twisted it so I have to start over. I was so mad at myself! Totally a DOH moment! The third time was the charm I got to row 8 last night and it was twisted! So I'm hoping to knit more of it today. I love the softness of the Cotton Plus yarn.
