Holy hoppin' Jew-eatin' bunny rabbit!

I wrote this back in February but, for some reason, never posted it. Regardless, it is still relevant today. In most Islamic countries, children are taught to hate Jews as soon as they talk. Even their school textbooks teach hatred.

Teaching hatred of others

The sick Hamas Palestinian children’s show, Tomorrow’s Pioneers, has a new character, Assud the Rabbit, who promises to “get rid of the Jews” and “eat them up” in order to liberate Palestine.

The first character, a Mickey Mouse look-alike, was martyred by an Israeli interrogator. From Palestinian Media Watch:

… beloved Farfur, the Mickey Mouse look-alike, was beaten to death by an Israeli interrogator. [Click to view video on YouTube or PMW website or to see original bulletin.] In an unusual propaganda technique that could only be effective with young children, it is this beating “death” that was created on their own TV that is now being used as a reason to see Jews as murderers. In an earlier program a child called in and insisted the Jews were dogs because they killed Farfur.

farfur1.jpgAlso previously on the children’s program, a three year old caller went on air saying the Jews killed Farfur. The hostess of the show, Saraa’, replied: “That’s right… The Jews are criminals and enemies, we must expel them from our land.” [Al-Aqsa TV, June 27, 2007]

..

In this last episode, the squeaky-voiced Farfur receives land documents from his grandfather. The episode ends when an Israeli investigator tries to force Farfur to give up the key and the papers that his grandfather had given him. When Farfur refuses, the Israeli continues his brutal attack and beats Farfur to death.

Although Farfur’s death is not shown to the child viewers, the hostess of the show, Saraa’, sadly announces his death to the children:

“Yes, our children friends, we lost our dearest friend, Farfur. Farfur turned to a Martyr while protecting his land. He turned into a Martyr at the hands of the criminals, and murderers, the murderers of the innocent children.”

PMW reported the existence of the Mickey Mouse knockoff and his hateful messages in May, prompting worldwide outrage. The New York Daily News dubbed the character “Terror Mouse,” while Walt Disney’s daughter Diane described it as “pure evil.”

Nahoul the bee took up the battle where his cousin, Farfur the mouse, left off. Unfortunately, Nahoul died of an illness — because his parents couldn’t get him to Egypt for an operation — and his brother, Assud the Rabbit, continues the fight. Don’t ask me how a bee can have human parents and a rabbit brother. It’s a cartoon.

How Christians need to respond

So what is the proper of Christians? Love.

It is easy to get angry and descend into hatred of Muslims because of how many of them treat non-Muslims. However, we are taught to love our enemies. There are many followers of Islam who do not hate the Jews. My Muslim friends came to the United States to escape the endless hatred and violence.

Jesus said that we should love our enemies. Wherever God’s love abounds, love to our neighbors abounds also. The two are inseparable. When God reigns within us, love reigns within our lives. We do not have to preach to show our love — our actions speak louder than our words.

When you witness to someone with a background of hatred, tell them about God’s love. Tell them how Jesus forgave those who persecuted him. Tell them that once we love God, then love of others and love of ourselves will fall properly into line.

17 Though the fig tree should not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines, the produce of the olive fail and the fields yield no food, the flock be cut off from the fold and there be no herd in the stalls, 18 yet I will rejoice in the LORD; I will take joy in the God of my salvation. 19 GOD, the Lord, is my strength; he makes my feet like the deer’s; he makes me tread on my high places.

America demanded a king

No comment necessary:

1 When Samuel grew old, he appointed his sons as judges for Israel. 2 The name of his firstborn was Joel and the name of his second was Abijah, and they served at Beersheba. 3 But his sons did not walk in his ways. They turned aside after dishonest gain and accepted bribes and perverted justice.
4 So all the elders of Israel gathered together and came to Samuel at Ramah. 5 They said to him, “You are old, and your sons do not walk in your ways; now appoint a king to lead us, such as all the other nations have.”

6 But when they said, “Give us a king to lead us,” this displeased Samuel; so he prayed to the LORD. 7 And the LORD told him: “Listen to all that the people are saying to you; it is not you they have rejected, but they have rejected me as their king. 8 As they have done from the day I brought them up out of Egypt until this day, forsaking me and serving other gods, so they are doing to you. 9 Now listen to them; but warn them solemnly and let them know what the king who will reign over them will do.”

10 Samuel told all the words of the LORD to the people who were asking him for a king. 11 He said, “This is what the king who will reign over you will do: He will take your sons and make them serve with his chariots and horses, and they will run in front of his chariots. 12 Some he will assign to be commanders of thousands and commanders of fifties, and others to plow his ground and reap his harvest, and still others to make weapons of war and equipment for his chariots. 13 He will take your daughters to be perfumers and cooks and bakers. 14 He will take the best of your fields and vineyards and olive groves and give them to his attendants. 15 He will take a tenth of your grain and of your vintage and give it to his officials and attendants. 16 Your menservants and maidservants and the best of your cattle  and donkeys he will take for his own use. 17 He will take a tenth of your flocks, and you yourselves will become his slaves. 18 When that day comes, you will cry out for relief from the king you have chosen, and the LORD will not answer you in that day.”

19 But the people refused to listen to Samuel. “No!” they said. “We want a king over us. 20 Then we will be like all the other nations, with a king to lead us and to go out before us and fight our battles.”

21 When Samuel heard all that the people said, he repeated it before the LORD. 22 The LORD answered, “Listen to them and give them a king.”
Then Samuel said to the men of Israel, “Everyone go back to his town.”

Anti-Semitism on the rise in Europe

When viewing the history of Europe, one of the dark stains that stands out is its history of persecuting Jews. Pogroms, massacres, and forcing Jews to live in slums have been the hallmark of Europe since the fall of the Roman Empire.

europe_anti_jewish.gifEurope developed a conscience after the Holocaust and anti-Semitic feelings fell. However, anti-Jewish sentiments have been on the rise for decades and have spiked markedly over the past 5 years. Spain has been of particular concern ever since it voted in a left-wing government that is antagonistic towards Israel.

A new Pew Research Center Poll shows the rise in "negative attitude" towards Jews. What the poll does not show is incidents of Jewish persecution. The negative attitude towards Jews is translating into vandalizing Jewish places and attacking Jews.

I created a widget for the left pane that chronicles events of Jewish persecution worldwide. It is free for you to use wherever you wish. I get no gain when anybody uses the widget. It does not link back to my blog or generate any traffic for me.

To place any of my widgets on your blog, click the Get Widget button at the bottom of the widget. The widget offers you a number of ways to place the widget on your blog, MySpace page, FaceBook page, or any type of web page that you might have.

Remember that Jesus was a Jew and that Jews are God's chosen people. Anti-Semitism or, for that matter, any sort of racism has no place in Christianity.

Love for others is one of the fruits of the spirit. If you have trouble loving people who are different from you, then you need to examine your faith and ask God to show you any places in your life that you have not turned over to him. God will answer that prayer. Give him your mind, body, and soul and he will give you love for him, your neighbors, and yourself.

Always keep Psalm 139 -- a psalm of David -- in your heart:

23 Search me, O God, and know my heart!
Try me and know my thoughts!
24 And see if there be any grievous way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting!

Punishment or blessing?

One of the perplexities in recent election cycles is that those who claim to be the spokesmans for helping minorities support policies that suppress — or even kill — minorities. I cannot understand politicians who support abortion under any circumstance yet receive tremendous support from minorities.

In the Dallas area, a preponderance of the abortion clinics are located in poor and minority neighborhoods. It’s no accident.

Watch this video and note two of the saddest quotes:

“Planned Parenthood kills more black people in three days than the Klan has killed in its entire history of existence.”

“Blacks make up 12% of the population but 35% of the abortions in America.”

Welcome Ace of Spades readers. Um, both of you. Sorry I didn’t have time to decorate, bake a cake, or blog since May. Have a look around.

I hate to give the SOBs this link. Here’s the damning quote:

The person who claimed responsibility for the break-in did not respond Thursday to an e-mail inquiry from [the SOBs].

I guess that explains why the SOBrefused to cooperate with the Secret Service — they’re complicit with the hacker.

“The Secret Service contacted [the SOBs] on Wednesday and asked for copies of the leaked e-mails, which circulated widely on the Internet. The [SOBs] did not comply.”

Imagine if someone had hacked into Clueles Joe Biden’s account and was in contact with Rush Limbaugh. Imagine further that Rush refused to cooperate with the Secret Service. What would the media outcry be?

Warning:  Take this post with a big grain of salt.

I've avoided talking about the rumored Michelle Obama film which supposedly has Michelle Obama on a panel with Louis Farrakhan talking vicious racism about the "white man" and even using the word "whitey." Why? Because (1) I haven't had the time; and (2) I have a strong Christian resistance to reporting rumors and gossip.

However, an event happened this morning on Fox News when they interviewed longtime Clinton operative and friend, Bob Beckel. Beckel said that there would be a Michelle Obama bombshell dropped on Obama tomorrow that would be very, very damaging. Of course, he blames it on Republicans but one has to wonder why Hillary is not conceding tonight when all the facts tonight are pointing to an Obama win.

Remember, this is a high-ranking Democrat operative and Clinton friend talking on the record:

According to news reports, Hillary will admit that Obama has enough votes to secure the nomination but she will put her campaign on hold and not formally withdraw.

What does Hillary know that we don’t?
