Times are tough, and the future is uncertain, leaving people looking for an extra layer of security, said gun sellers and experts in the field. November's election brought heightened fears of impending regulation, spurring some buyers to bite the bullet and make purchases they might otherwise have put off.

Gun Found in Anti-Gun Senator Donne Trotter's Carry-On Bag

Anti-Gun... Well... Not for Himself!

Have you ever thought to yourself that some politicians seem to have a double standard?  What do you think about an anti-gun state senator getting busted for trying to carry a handgun onto an airplane?  Oops!

That is exactly what happened to Illinois state Senator Donne Trotter (D-Chicago). It seems that Mr Trotter was caught with an unloaded gun and a magazine with six rounds inside his carry-on bag as he passed through security at O’Hare International Airport in Chicago.
