I remember those days when we were teens and we had these "House Chores" in the house, and sometimes you were not able to do them, or forgot them or even maybe just totally took them for granted because you had to go out with your friends or maybe even ex-girlfriend. By the time you get home you suddenly remember OOPS! I think I forgot to fix my room! And when you open your front door, Daddy is sitting by the couch watching TV wearing a disappointed face and telling you "You forgot to fix your room!" And you go something like, Oh uhm you see Dad, I was kinda in a hurry and was really running late for school." Or maybe you uttered some boring excuse you know your father wouldn't buy. Then he would always reply "You may have all the valid excuses in the world, but STILL you didn't get the job done."
Now that I started this journey, the same thing applies. Everytime the Lazy-monster posses me, I just really stop and tell myself, "another valid excuse?" Like in my previous posts, I think I've also been experiencing those times wherein we felt we were tired or didn't have the time or something came up kind of stuff. But here I am still head strong walking in the same straight line going for gold.
2 Common Valid Excuses or maybe Hindrances?
Valid Excuse # 1: Time
I believe we would all agree with this. Time is probably the only thing in this world that is always not on our side. Agree? The only solution is actually find and alot time for yourself. There's just no such thing as "I don't really have a choice". I think that would be very lame. Don't you think? Find time. Make time. Why always think of Time as your enemy when it could be a your Asset.
Valid Excuse # 2: Work
This is very related to number 1. Actually it goes something like, I can't go to the gym coz I have work. As for this one, 2 words: Time Management. Agree? You can't always use "work" as your excuse. Take me for an example. I work in a Call Center. My shift starts at 1230am and ends at 930am. By the time I get home, just like all of you, I'm also tired. I'm also worned out. I also feel lazy to go to the gym. So what do I do? I don't go to the gym after work. I go to the gym BEFORE I go to work. Obviously, after work we are all tired and would just really want to sit down on the couch, open the TV and maybe fall asleep. So why push it? Besides, even if you did made it to the gym you wouldn't be able to maximize your scheduled Workout Routines. Why? You're already tired.
Source of Motivation
Try to think again about your Goal. What is it that you want to achieve? Why did you go to the gym in the first place? If you are going to the gym just because you had a buddy who wants you to accompany him/her then forget it. Get OUT of the gym. You don't have any purpose there. Worse, you're wasting time, money and effort. Be sure if you're going to start working out, you have a goal. You have a picture of what you would like to be. So when the time comes that you're feeling lazy, stop time. Focus and think about your goal. Remember, the only thing that keeps your goal so far away to reach is you procrastinating.
Next source of motivation: Friends and Family. Don't you want to hear the words "hey you're looking good these days. Your belly has shrunk and it's like your Aura is kinda different." Or at least something close to those. Try again to picture your goal and your friends looking up to you. Think about all the people who would admire you, who would look up to you who even.. well for girls, you get the boys attention and as for the Men, ofcourse the women always have that ideal guys looking Fit and Right.
Last but not the least, yourself. Living healthy pays off well. Maybe the most obvious is that you get to wear what ever you want. And the clothes look good on you because they "Fit" just right. Being fit means also not getting sick or at least not that often. And of course life just gets to be a lot better and lasts longer. So what do you think? Still lazy? Any other hindrances or Excuses? You decide. Remember, the things that we would regret the most in life are not the things we did but the things we failed to do.

Countdown to End Second Month Training
Keeping Steady
At this point, I'm just really sailing steadily as I end my Second Month of Training. Not really rushing out Workout Routines or even thinking of not going to the gym because of laziness, but just doing the same things. Today, I'll be going to the gym for my chest and tricep workouts. These are actually my favorites. Why? Well chest workout is of course of the chest but when you look on the mirror after you workout, your muscles are pumped up thus your shirt would have this better fit in you. You know, those bulky chests are slightly curving up and makes you want to check your shape in the mirror going diagonal ways then side ways to check out the slow development of your muscles. I feel like I'm a growing lady checking if her boobs were growing.. hahaha.. Then we go to the triceps. After you entire workout, we MEN like WOMEN also love to look in the mirror checking out our figure but mostly because we want to see if all our hard work carrying all those iron plates have come to an eye catching curve in our body. Looking closely on your sleeves and trying to observe if the Tricep has developed enough to give you that slight curve noticeably to the eyes of the public has been a little bit of a habbit everytime we go to the gym.
What to Expect this December?
This coming Friday, I'll be starting off with a Personal Trainer. This should give me a huge difference from my 2 months worth of training. Also starting December 1, I'm going to start to drink my 1 week old Protein Shake - Muscle Juice 2544. Again, it should speed up my Turtle-Speedy-Progress of developing muscles. This should also improve my weight and muscle mass.
Changing Diet
Starting December 1, I'm also going for the Low-Carb High Protein diet since I'll be taking in Protein Supplements thus cutting out the carbs should be a good move. Why? If I dont cut down my carbs, as a Rice person as I am, they would all be converted to fat and sit on my belly which I am really working hard on flattening.
Changes in Workout Routines
The Personal Trainer also informed me that by the start of my training, I'll be doing an entire different Workout Routine. This is to refresh my muscle memory and thus give it a kick. I'm not really sure on what specific routines we'll be doing but at least this time, I'm really looking forward to this new Workout Schedule. It's really different when you're working out alone and just trying to figure things out by yourself than having someone really walking you through the process.
A Glance for Next Month's Training
Well, seems December wil be a very exciting month. We have me going through a Personal Trainer which means better and more effective workout routines. Expanding my knowledge on weight lifting is inevitable. Next is of course the New Diet not to mention the intake of High Protein through Food Supplements - Muscle Juice 2544.
So there you have it. Should you have any questions or suggestions like maybe suggesting a Workout Routine or Diet meal or even Products like Protein Shakes, Amino acids etc... Please do hesitate to comment or email me at amberlights09@gmail.com.

Volume 2-10: Food and Diet Struggle
The Pressure of Consistency
For the longest time now I have to admit, I've had lapses in my Fitness Journey when it comes to the Consistency of my Diet. Looking back at my previous posts, I should be having a high-Protein Diet and about average carb intake. Not too much since it may not be burned thus be converted to Fat. Unfortunately, I've been inconsistent. I tried doing the 6 meals slow frequent Meal diet, and was really having a hard time. Why? Well first of all I work in a call center. I work in the night shift from 12:30am-9:30am. I have to say, eating habbits have been a real struggle for these past weeks. It's a good thing though that I'm still able to go to the gym. But of course sometimes it has crossed my thoughts not to. You know the laziness within is just an irresistible. But I have always picked my heavy butt up and kicked myself to the car to go to the gym. I guess all these are normal and make me human.
Source of Motivation
You know, those times when I got lazy to eat or those times when I was lazy to go the gym I always thought of this Blog. Not only the Blog actually but my dear readers and future readers. My audience has been my source of motivation. I could still clearly remember my goal here; "To achieve a Physically Fit Body and share my experiences to everyone else." You see, when the time comes that I have achieved my goal, I believe that this would be the FIRST REALITY BLOG ever made regarding Physical Fitness. Of course I'm not sure if there's someone else who has thought about this but at least in my Blog, you all are witnesses to my development. Not like other sites wherein you can only see 2 pictures; BEFORE and AFTER. I mean, not that I'm against it but wouldn't it be better if they saw several pictures of your progress? Plus the entire documentation of what you did to achieve it? Now that's something I've been working on for like 7 weeks now. And so far, small amounts of development have been acquired.
December Plans - Protein Shake Intake.
Okay like I said in my earlier posts, I will be trying the Protein Shake stuff Physical Trainers and Friends of mine from http://www.bodybuilding.com/ (Asians Thread) have been pushing me to do. I've actually bought my Protein Shake but haven't started drinking yet. Though I admit that I tried tasting it... hehehe just as a taste test. The brand is MUSCLE JUICE.
Looks like this:

Yeah it's a whooping 10.5 pounder! hehehe.. As for the directions, well it clearly says 4 SCOOPS in 18 ounce of water, milk, juice or any of your favorite beverages. I actually just tried it today and boy was it really heavy in the stomach. It's like a full meal. So this December, I will be taking this and most likely cutting down on Carbs.
Any suggestions? I'm all ears.
