Phew!

Maybe we should have posted a picture of a long distance marathon runner - but these days, things are feeling more RoadRunner'ish. Not that we're complaining...no no no. We added SEVERAL Christmas markets and they have been a lot of fun...but replenishing into the wee hours of the night, well...they have their moments.

As well, we've been filling orders like crazy. We've even gotten some from the UK which is making us feel mighty proud that we're making an impact that far away:)

So we're not blogging as much, but you would be amazed to see the new products we've made - some of them are flying off the shelves...and are so yummy. (As mentioned previously, we're not posting pictures of our new product until the new year - we're on a small island and our competitors are just too anxious to 'borrow' some of our ideas:)

If you haven't ordered yet - please do so soon...our cut-off date for special orders will be Friday, December 15th...no exceptions:)

Happy Trails,

the roadrunner sisters:)

We're doing Preserves Now!!

WoooHoooo! We're in the throes of craft sale madness and we've just added on a new show - our new glass canning jars are making a big hit - these beauties are filled with soy wax and the candles can burn for 40+ hours! We've got 3 delicious flavors that are sure to have you ordering these by the case.

Our votive candles sold off the shelf this weekend and we're busy replenishing for the upcoming show next week. Never a dull moment is there? We just got a big order from a local spa/retreat centre and couldn't be happier - what a great way to spread Splurge!

We're bumping into happy customers at the markets, on the street, to and from work and everyone is excited about our fresh, local product. Send us an email and get your orders in quick!!

So Long Market Season of 2008

Finally, it's the last Saturday of the 2008 season - can you believe it? We have been run off our feet trying to replenish our supplies - our customers have been amazing and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness.

We're gearing up for plenty of Christmas shows - so stop by the market on Saturday to see where we'll be and when.

Don't worry - we're still around and we're creating a plenty.

Peaceful

My first thought was to put up a picture of a beehive filled with activity. But then I thought better of it.

Two more Saturdays at the market and then it's into Christmas Showtime - wheeeeeeee! We've been experimenting with some new soy wax candles that are so pretty to look at - you won't want to burn them. We've even chosen a new Christmas scent and the title alone will have you wanting to buy all the bars up at once!

So we're busy as bees but not too busy to write back or fill your order (and to all of our dear customers off the island - get your orders in to us asap - there will be treats for those early birds:)

Blessings,

Competition

Last Saturday at the market had to be one of our most memorable and easily one of my most favorite. It rained and rained and somehow the rain made people want to shop and shop and shop which was fabulous. We had rigged up a tarp to go over the tent and it made us extra warm and toasty inside. Friends and fellow vendors came over and we had the best time. Seriously. We laughed so hard and had so much fun - next week will be rather tame I am afraid if there's no rain.

So yes, we'll be at the market again this Saturday. All of our products stayed dry so we didn't have any water damage at all - which is the best news of all. We're working on some amazing candles which I'll highlight in the coming weeks. Plus, with the winter season approaching, we will be at MORE craft shows this year than ever!

Now for the title of this message. We know imitation is a form of flattery - but lately it's been really obvious (and you know who you are:). So if you want to know what Christmas shows we're at - just send us an email and we'll tell you dates/times/locations...we're learning not to highlight too many of our accomplishments, or show off our newest creations since some are simply copying them and selling them. Ah well, life is too short and we're not stressing about it - we're just being wise.

So happy October and Happy Thanksgiving next week for the Canadians.

Blessings,

We Love Selling Soap in the Rain...

As I write this, it's morning but the sky is so gray and the clouds are pregnant with rain. Every weather station is forecasting rain for the next 3 days - oh happy happy day.

But we will not be daunted...no, no, no...the market must go on. The final Saturdays at the market are always a joy no matter the weather. You all faithfully come out attired in your boots and jackets and smiles, so we can't complain.

We just got finished making the most delicious Chai Tea soap - the colors are so smooth and the scent of cinnamon and cloves etc. are so soothing.

So regardless of the weather, come out and visit up this Saturday. For those who've placed special orders, they are all packed up and ready for you to come and pick up:)

Have a great week, wherever in the world you are.
