The Playground is Closing

Wednesday, November 19, 2008

We have outgrown our place here on Blogger/Blogspot and are moving to bigger and better things. Fear not, our loyal readers and hot-ass chick groupies (and you fellas too), you will still be able to get your reviews and news of the weirdest, vilest, sleaziest and most horrific movies available for consumption. Except now, I have more control over my surroundings and lots more room to play. The Playground is no more but Cinesploitation is born from its ashes. You have all been very loyal and good to me and I hope you will follow me over and continue to support the website. I am not finished with the new site completely but it is good enough to use and I will be adding other good stuff little by little.

So please, update your bookmarks, feeds, and links! You can reach me at contact@cinesploitation.com for any questions, comments or to send nude pictures of yourself.

I can't tell you how happy this makes me. I have seen crappy, unwatchable, foreign bootlegs but now Synapse is releasing it for U.S. consumption. I hope that the trend of releasing Lindberg movies continues.

From Don May, President of Synapse Films:

"It's currently scheduled for a MARCH 31, 2009 release date (just in time for Christina's scheduled U.S. appearance with us at the CINEMA WASTELAND SHOW in Strongsville, OH in April).

Not only were we able to do a far superior transfer to previous PAL video editions, we have it loaded with extras, too!"

- Anamorphic 16x9 [1.66:1]Transfer
- Swedish Dolby Digital 2.0 Mono
- Newly Translated Removable English Subtitles
- "OVER EXPOSED" Featurette with Christina Lindberg
- Two Music Tracks from Christina Lindberg
- Still Gallery
- Theatrical Trailer

This film is aka:
Exponerad
Exposed
The Depraved
Diary of a Rape

Solicitation for the film will not begin until January 20th and will be available for preorder in early February. Here are some promo fliers provided by Marc Morris of Nucleus Films (CLICK FOR LARGER VERSION):
